Style Size Wood Finish opacity Water-based acrylics cure by cross-linking, the polymer chains in each coat bond together as they cure. Thin coats let more water escape between layers, building a harder, more durable film than one heavy coat. Spraying instead of brushing also works the finish into end grain and angled cuts before it builds on the surface. Higher opacity means more color and UV protection, less visible grain.

Deposit & cancellation policy A fairer deal than most makers offer: a deposit normally returns nothing if you walk away. Here I guarantee the materials I buy for your order come back to you, within the limits below, even though they stay mine until I hand them over.
A deposit is required to start your order. It pays for the work I plan and schedule and the financial liability I take on (sized to the materials I buy for your build). It is not a purchase of materials. The deposit is nonrefundable, and all materials remain mine until I hand them to you.
Going beyond a normal deposit: if you cancel before construction starts, I'll release the raw, uncut boards and any other materials bought for your order to you. Once boards are cut, releasing them costs extra depending on the design. Once construction and finishing have begun (cutting done), the materials can't be recovered unless the order is paid in full. You will be notified when the order is complete and I will contact you to arrange delivery or a pick-up.
